This week was good! We saw many miracles! One of the best days was
Saturday. We went down to center city and handed out temple
invitations then went back to our area and talked to people at a city
event. By the end of the day we had handed out 105 invitations to the
temple and gotten tons of referrals for missionaries throughout our
mission! It was such a fun day!

perfect in everything. It’s amazing to think about all of the miracles
that happen because someone was in the right place at the right time!
I love the gospel and I’m so grateful for the truths that I have in my
life. I’m grateful for the temple and the promises we make with God
there. I don’t think I’ve ever talked about the temple so much in my
entire life, but this week especially, it’s something that has become
so important to me. I’m grateful that we get to be with our families
forever. I’m grateful God has provided a way for me to be eternally
happy. The truths we hold on to are amazing because they will never
change, God never changes.

I’m so grateful for the gospel and I’m grateful for a loving Heavenly
Father who wants all of His children to be happy. I’m grateful for the
priesthood which gives us the authority to be bound with our families
forever. I’m grateful for the Book of Mormon. I’m just grateful to be
a missionary at this specific time! 🙂

Have a great week! I love you to the moon and back!

Tender Mercies

Friends and family!

This week we had a great experience! On Thursday at zone training the
zone leaders had trained on using the commitment pattern and using it
in a way that the people we were teaching would just commit themselves
to change. Later in the week we were having a lesson with a less
active sister and we were talking about going to church. We tried
using the commitment pattern the way the zone leaders had trained and
then all the sudden she’s all, “So, I’m going to come to church this
Sunday.” We were so excited! The best part though, was after sacrament
meeting on Sunday, she came up to us and said hello, we were so happy
to see her! It was great too because the lesson in gospel doctrine was
what we had taught about when we were at her house earlier in the
week, so she said she could participate a lot!

We saw the twins multiple times this week! They are doing awesome!
They are so excited to get baptized. We moved their date to July 31 so
that they can be better prepared, but they are loving everything we
are teaching them. They are so cute! I’m so so excited for them. Other
things that happened this week: making crab for our dinner
appointment, two of them fell on the ground and were crawling
everywhere in the kitchen. Also the fire alarm going off in our
apartment complex and Sister Condon jumping so high she fell out of
her chair. Setting up so many appointments with people. And talking
about the temple everywhere we go!

This week we’ve seen so many tender mercies from the Lord, I’m so so
grateful for all of the experiences we’ve had. This week I also
studied charity, I’m so grateful for Christ’s pure love for me. I’m
grateful for the fact that He knows exactly what I feel every day. He
doesn’t just know what the sorrow from my sins feels like, but
everything; the good and the bad. He knows what everyone else I know
and love has felt too. It’s crazy, one moment I think I have a little
bit of an understanding of Christ and His atonement and His love for
me, and then I learn something new and I think there’s no way I could
have understood what it was before this…and then it happens all over
again! I’m grateful to always be learning though. I will probably
never come to fully understand His atonement, but I am extremely
grateful for the experiences I’ve had here to help me understand it
just a little bit better. Christ loves us so much, He wants what’s
best for us, He does everything He can to help us achieve that. I love
the gospel so much. I love my Savior, I love the Book of Mormon, I
love the priesthood, temples, the Holy Ghost, a modern day prophet.
I’m just grateful to share this wonderful, good news with others!

I love you to the moon and back!

Love,
Sister Gomm

Happy 4th!

Friends and family!

I hope you are all having a great 4th of July!

This week we got to meet President and Sister Randall! They are so
cool! I’m so sad I only get one transfer with them!

This week we were trying to have an 8:45 miracle. Our appointments had
fallen through that day and we were determined to have something good
happen! We were tracting and decided to try one more house. We knocked
and a man answered. He worked at the house, but we talked to him about
the gospel and he told us that he has been looking for a church to go
to. We talked a little about what we believe and the temple! He told
us that he wants to meet with missionaries and learn more about our
church. We got his information and sent it over to the missionaries
where he lives. It’s so great to see the tender mercies from the Lord
when you have a desire to do good!

We saw our investigators with a date this week and they are the
cutest! They really want to be baptized so they can be cleansed from
their sins. It’s so cool to see how even children understand the
gospel!

I’m so grateful to be a missionary. I love meeting so many people and
creating lasting relationships. I’m grateful for my Savior and that He
has allowed me to have the experiences I’m having here!

Good luck to all my PRS sisters with the busy week ahead! I love you all!

Also, yay for weddings, baptisms, and births! Cute baby Conner seems
adorable! And yay for Ty in making the decision to be baptized, I know
you will remember this day forever!!

I love you to the moon and back!

Love,
Sister Gomm
